I studied fine art at Ontario College of Art and Design, where I wrote my thesis about psychiatry and shamanism. My thesis project was unbearably incomplete by the time I graduated, so I decided to pursue psychiatry, in order to investigate the theoretical foundation of my thesis. I am currently enrolled in the M.D. program at the University of Queensland, and I am honored to follow the path that many great minds – Franz Fanon, Carl Jung, and Anton Chekhov – walked on.
